The 2009 "Trophy Striper" season (Maryland Rockfish) begins on the third Saturday of April and runs to May 15th. During this time charter boat fishermen are allowed one "Trophy Striper" (Maryland Rockfish) per person of twenty eight inches or bigger. After the "Trophy Striper" season (Maryland Rockfish) ends the Summer "Trophy Striper" season (Maryland Rockfish) begins. This runs from May 16th to December. During the Summer "Trophy Striper" season (Maryland Rockfish) charter boat fishermen are allowed two Striped Bass (Maryland Rockfish) per person and each fish must be over eighteen inches in length.
