The 2008 trophy Striped Bass (Rockfish) fishing season on the Chesapeake Bay begins on April 19. The Maryland Department of Natural Resources has just set date for the Chesapeake Bay Spring Tropy Season. In addition to the stiped bass a.k.a. Chesapeake Bay rockfish, come out and catch Bluefish, Croaker, Flatheads, seatrout, Mackerel, Flounder, Black Drum, Spot, Striped Bass and Perch.

Captain Mike is an active member of the Chesapeake Beach Fishing Charters Association. He is licensed by the United States Coast Guard and carries a Maryland State fishing guide license.
